Canvas Learning Management System

I created and published the Digital Multimeter Activity / Lab on Canvas LMS. The Canvas LMS is an easy-to-use tool to build and publish courses to a large student audience. I navigated the tool to quickly understand various features and functionality. I created a module, added pages to it, and built out content adapted from OER. I added 3 lessons, pages associated with the lessons and copied text content and images from the OER resource. I added an optional Discussion feature to enable student participation.

For the Assignment, I was able to set the grade points, type of files allowed for submission, Due date, Available From and Until dates to enable students to get a clear idea of the schedule. I was also able to convert the rubric I had created on MS Word into the format provided on Canvas to make a neat rubric table.

 I used the Student View feature to view the course as a learner would and found it very useful to make improvements to the course. 

Overall, I found Canvas LMS to be an easy tool to navigate and quickly learn.
